JTST — JSON Text Style Tester
Browser-based tool to create, preview and export JSON font styles for online game text rendering.
- Fill & Stroke layers with solid or gradient colors
- Drop shadow with offset, blur, color
- Import/export JSON & Adobe .ASL layer styles
- Live canvas preview with Google Fonts
- Screenshot export
- Undo / Redo with Ctrl+Z / Ctrl+Y — tracks text style, layers, background, filters & particles state
- Proportional Scaling — chain icon next to font size: scales stroke width, offsets & shadow proportionally when changing font size
- PixiJS Filters — optional per-layer and global filters (Glow, Outline, Drop Shadow, Bloom, Blur, CRT, RGB Split, Twist, and 20+ more) powered by PixiJS 7 + pixi-filters 5
- Export / Import filter configurations as separate JSON (Pixi Studio compatible)
- Bounding Box — toggle overlay showing text bounding rectangle with pixel dimensions
- Project (.jtst) — save & restore your entire project (style, layers, filters, particles, background, canvas settings) as a single file
- Browse — drag a folder onto the Browse modal to preview all .json / .jtst files as a thumbnail grid with Open, Rename & Delete actions
- Custom Font — load a local font file (.ttf, .otf, .woff, .woff2) without uploading; missing-font warning on import with fallback to Noto Sans
Limitations: No inner shadow, outer/inner glow, bevel, satin or pattern overlays in base canvas mode. Gradients are vertical-only. One drop shadow max. PixiJS Filters mode replaces canvas rendering with WebGL.
